Hope Montgomery – Strategic Communication

Hi! I’m Hope Montgomery, a recent graduate of Washington State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Strategic Communications. I’m continuing my education at WSU through the Master’s in Strategic Communications program and am excited to keep learning and growing in the communication field.

I’m originally from Cle Elum, Washington, and WSU has been a big part of my life over the past few years. During my time at WSU, I was involved in Kappa Delta, PRSSA, and Crimson Creative, where I gained experience in public relations, social media, event planning, graphic design, and working with real clients. These experiences helped me realize how much I enjoy being creative while also building relationships and telling meaningful stories.

I’m especially interested in public relations, social media, marketing, and community storytelling. I enjoy finding creative ways to communicate a message and connect with different audiences. I’m also interested in how organizations can use communication to build stronger relationships within their communities.

Outside of school and work, I love spending time with my friends, family, and my cat, Tinkerbell. I also enjoy traveling and hope to visit more places in the future, especially Europe!

I created this blog to share my work and keep developing my skills in digital media and strategic communication. This semester, I’ll explore topics related to communication and create multimedia projects that I can add to my professional portfolio.
